Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at our prestigious Med Spa. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our team of medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for aesthetics, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist medical professionals in performing cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to laser treatments, injectables (Botox, dermal fillers), chemical peels, and other aesthetic procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Take and document medical histories, including the patient's aesthetic concerns, allergies, and relevant medical conditions.
- Perform pre- and post-treatment assessments, including taking photographs and measurements for documentation and progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, consent forms, and progress notes.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medical supplies, skincare products, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new procedures, and product advancements through continuous learning and training.
- Help maintain a smooth patient flow by guiding providers with upcoming appointments and assisting with the timely preparation of patients for their procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Previous experience as a medical assistant in a cosmetic or aesthetic setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic procedures and treatments, including lasers, injectables, chemical peels, and skincare perferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other medical software.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
- Willingness to attend training programs, workshops, and seminars to stay updated with the latest aesthetic techniques and technologies.
Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Select Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Must be able to be scheduled during these hours.Must be willing to travel between both CMA Medicine locations as needed:

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
