What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise EOC Console Operator position at CMA?
Position Overview
- Monitoring batch processes for errors, timely initiation and successful completions.
- Monitor file transmissions for errors, timely initiation and successful completions.
- Monitoring the infrastructure that supports the CMA applications for availability, error conditions and capacity utilization issues. This includes servers, network devices, storage, circuits, operating systems, databases, etc.
- Monitoring the Data Center’s air conditioning, electrical and fire suppression systems for availability, error conditions and capacity utilization issues.
- Monitoring the physical access to the CMA work areas and Data Center during non-prime shift hours.
- Dispatching technicians, vendors and/or management when an incident and/or problem is detected or reported.
- Recording, categorizing, and assigning incidents, problems and/or requests as reported and/or detected.
- Assisting in the development of console operations knowledge articles.
- Executing and preparing management report

- A degree related to Computer Science or any Information Technology (IT) certifications.
- Basic knowledge of the IT configuration for a typical Data Warehouse.
- Experience working and communicating as part of a team
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
