Overview
** IMMEDIATE OPENING ** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Mid-Level Locum Tenens to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical settings and demonstrate proficiency in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This role is essential in providing high-quality healthcare services, including behavioral health support, telehealth consultations, and emergency care within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, Mainly Pain Managmenet, but can include include Physical and Occupation Therapy and referrals
- Manage acute and chronic conditions while ensuring continuity of care through effective discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and coordinate care.
- Utilize telehealth technologies to deliver remote consultations and follow-ups.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret laboratory results to guide treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in airway management and other critical care procedures as needed.
Requirements
- BA,BS or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state NC licensure.
- Experience in behavioral health, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote patient engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions and teamwork.

Pay: $124,800.00 - $132,000.00 per year
