The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing new business relationships and securing contracts in the San Antonio region.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for overall Business Development and Sales process which includes client and project pursuits, RFPs, proposals, key wins and losses, industry activities and other general BD/marketing/Sales responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain industry relationships to support opportunity growth
- Review public RFPs, identify opportunities, and track them in a CRM system
- Identify leads and opportunities and track them in a CRM system
- Write technical proposals that meet the requirements of RFPs
- Conduct industry presentations and facilitate online events (webinars, industry workshops)
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of business development experience in engineering, construction, or construction technology
- Experience writing technical proposals
- Experience working with RFP systems
- Experience working with senior leadership and executive teams
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Experience in social marketing and ad campaign development and management
