The Job
The Social Media & Content Strategist will manage the creation and execution of innovative external communications that build brand awareness, engagement, and strength.
This role will also manage the day-to-day publishing of outbound content. They will create cohesive & strategic graphics and content for the use on social media, web, email, print, and publication release. As part of the marketing team, they will have a strong voice in the delivery of CMC North America’s corporate and brand messaging.
Job Responsibilities :

- Content Strategy & Planning
- Developing comprehensive content calendars across multiple social media platforms
- Planning and coordinating content themes, campaigns, and posting schedules
- Aligning content with marketing objectives and brand voice
- Identifying trending topics, opportunities for engagement, and social media trends
Content Creation & Management
Writing, editing, and optimizing social media postsCreating graphics & visual assets for contentCoordinating with the marketing team for other media assets such as videosManaging content libraries and digital assetsEnsuring consistent brand messaging across all platformsAdapting content for different social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)Scheduling & Publication
Using scheduling tools (like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later) to manage post timingCoordinating content publication across time zonesMaintaining consistent posting schedulesManaging last-minute content changes or crisis communicationsAnalytics & Reporting

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or Public Relations1 - 5 years of Marketing, Social Media Management, or Graphic Design experienceProficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Previous experience with the press and paid media advertisingExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong grammar, vocabulary, and persuasive writing, etc.Advanced understanding of social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.Desired Qualifications :
