As the Mechanical Systems Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting timely safety and quality checks with the maintenance crew
- Evaluating safety norms and warning of any hazards
- Strategically guiding technicians in job assignments suitable to their expertise
- Checking job packages for thoroughness and detailing
- Directing technicians in tasks with clear instructions for successful outcomes
- Ensuring meticulous recording of work hours and resources utilized
- Initiating corrective actions based on inspections
What will make you successful in this role?
- At least 5 years' expertise in maintenance or a comparable educational experience
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance frameworks; process development skills advantageous
- Experience working with welding and advanced mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Reading and understanding complex schematics
- Proficiency in computing systems and software
- Holding a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional certification is a plus
Preferred educational backgrounds include college degrees, technical trade training, or military education.
