Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Vision
- Drive the overall strategic direction of the company in collaboration with ownership and executive leadership.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, execution excellence, and accountability at all levels.
- Lead internal initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality improvement, and long-term scalability.
Operations & Growth
- Oversee all functional areas including estimating, project delivery, finance, HR, and field operations.
- Guide the pursuit and execution of infrastructure projects across Texas, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Align operational strategies with backlog goals, market trends, and long-term growth objectives.
Financial & Risk Management
- Monitor company performance through financial reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Make strategic decisions around capital investment, project selection, and risk management.
- Optimize resources and maintain cost control across multiple divisions and projects.
Talent & Culture
- Build and maintain a high-performing leadership team through succession planning, mentorship, and recruitment.

External Relations
- Represent the company in industry associations, strategic partnerships, and key client relationships.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil construction.
- Proven track record of overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of project performance metrics.
- Ability to lead company-wide strategy, drive culture, and manage growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 15 years of industry experience with background in both estimating and operations.
- Experience navigating state DOT projects, public agency work, and water/wastewater markets.
- Familiarity with HCSS, P6, and field-centric project controls systems.
