Job Description:

CMC Rock is currently seeking an experienced Crusher Plant Operator for our Aggregate Division in Saratoga Springs.

To be considered you must have 2 years experience operating a crusher in a gravel pit and possess knowledge of common plant failures and repairs. This role requires a safety-conscious individual who can maximize output while maintaining a safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures according to MSHA guidelines.
• Safely perform and document pre-shift, mid-shift, and post-shift inspections, completing daily production reports, and reporting any unsafe equipment/conditions to the supervisor or foreman.
• Demonstrate the ability to safely and productively operate equipment at all times as assigned.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on plants and equipment.
• Assist maintenance personnel with plant repairs when needed and perform preventative maintenance.
• Cross-train on other positions in the plant to serve as a relief to other operators.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude, and work as a team player.
• Assist with the upkeep and greasing of all bearings in the plant.
• Work in a confined area with other heavy equipment and ground personnel while maintaining awareness of surrounding hazards of operation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

MUST have 2 years minimum experience with Crushers to apply. If you do not meet this requirement your application will be rejected.

• General knowledge of working around large aggregate mines and equipment.
• Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements and some noise.
• Must have the ability to work independently and problem-solve while working alone or as part of a team.
• Great attention to detail and a high stress tolerance.
• Knowledge of 3-phase 480V.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Ability to lead a team is desirable.
