CMC Supply is recruiting a Branch Manager to join our successful team in Rocky Mount, VA. The Branch Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction. They direct, coordinate and monitor all branch operations including sales, warehouse, logistics, inventory, finances, facility maintenance, and personnel development activities.
Job Duties:
- Interviews, selectively hires, and trains staff.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
- Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates sales, marketing, and budgeting.
- Oversees Inventory Accuracy by managing Cycle Counts.
- Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
- Ensures that the branch always looks clean and inviting.
- Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar position (3 years preferred). Minimum 3 years in progressive position (5 years preferred). Product/applications experience preferred. Wholesale distribution experience preferred. Supervisory experience required. Competency in all subordinate positions of branch operations is essential.
