- Accurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with production, sales and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery time
- No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 years
- No on-road preventable accidents during the past (3) years as shown on the Motor Vehicle Road (MVR); accidents are reviewed by CMC Logistics
- Pass required D.O.T. and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by D.O.T.
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Performs daily Pre-Trip, Inter-Trip, and Post Trip Inspections.
- Responsible for the delivery of products to customers, contractors, and jobsites throughout the location geographic region
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License requiredWhat You'll Need
- Ability to inspect vehicle(s) for any safety or operational defects using DOT, maintenance, and safety checklists and ensuring emergency equipment is in proper working order
- Driver must be knowledgeable in D.O.T. Regulations / Requirements
- Ensure vehicle is properly loaded and load secured and product is delivered safely and timely
- Frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs / ladders, works with chains, drops and hooks trailers, performs inspections and reaches to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor / trailer experience required (3 years preferred)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
