Come be the backbone that holds our local logistics department together by picking up and delivering fabricated rebar, scrap, and other materials. Most drivers will be driving locally and home nightly! Regional driver being out 1-2 nights at a time, home on the weekends.We ask that you have the following qualifications :
- Ability to accurately complete delivery paperwork
- Operate industry relevant technologies such as mobile smart phones and vehicle E-logs
- Coordinate with production, sales, and customers
- Ensure vehicles are properly and securely loaded
- Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Successfully pass a company road test and have a clean driving record
- Ability to work outside and lift heavy loads
- Ability to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
- Willingness to learn, tackle new challenges, and work well with a team or independently
- Some positions may require a CDL
