CME’s Direct to Site (DTS) delivery and installation team is looking to add an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to perform all warehousing related activities in our San Jose, CA Service Center. This is a hands-on position that will be responsible for all aspects of warehousing and inventory management, as well as the staging and coordination of DTS delivery and installation services of medical equipment out of the San Jose Service Center. This position will play a key role in meeting CME’s goal of consistently providing an exceptional experience to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform warehousing duties in compliance with company’s policies
- Perform all aspects of receiving, warehousing and DTS staging operations
- Inspect, accept, or reject received shipments
- Data entry of receiving/shipping info into company’s warehouse and inventory system
- Regular communication with the Project Management team to schedule and coordinate DTS deliveries and installations.
- Equipment assembly and staging work within CME’s warehouse
- Coordinating inventory within the warehouse and ensuring delivery deadlines are met
- Maintain frequent communication with internal departments
- Quality control and accuracy of inventory moving in and out of the warehouse utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Prepare for and perform annual physical inventory
- Follows and executes company safety directives
- Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
- 2 years of progressive experience working in a warehousing environment.
- Associate’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or combination of education and work experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and business ERP
- Experience using Microsoft Suit products (advance experience in Excel and Outlook)
- Healthcare supply chain experience a plus
- Ability to have flexible hours as the conditions dictate
- Must be physically fit and lift up to 75lbs
- Must have flexible schedule as starting and ending times vary daily
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and be very familiar with warehouse equipment as well as general hand and power tools
