We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our organization. This is a hands-on position that will be responsible to oversee all aspects of warehousing, inventory management, and supervise warehouse staff. This position is based in Warwick, RI and will report to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manages warehouse in compliance with company’s policies
- Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
- Coordinating inventory within the warehouse and ensuring delivery deadlines are met
- Maintain frequent communication with transport companies, suppliers, and internal departments
- Quality control and accuracy of inventory moving in and out of the warehouse utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
- Follows and executes company safety directives.
- Collaborates with Branch Manager to develop an effective and productive warehouse team through training, managing, evaluating performance, coaching, motivating, and disciplining, when necessary.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Supervise warehouse staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or combination of education and work experience
- 5 years of warehouse management and inventory control experience
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and business ERP
- Experience using Microsoft Suite of products Experienced in Excel and Outlook)
- Healthcare supply chain experience a plus
- Ability to have flexible hours as the conditions dictate
