CME Group is currently looking for a Data Science year-round intern.
This intern will help the manager of Data Science with data acquisition, data cleaning, data modelling, and data visualization in customer analytics. The goal is to generate actionable insights from various data sources to support sales initiatives. It is a part time position that requires 16 – 20 hours per week, depending on the background of the candidate. The intern must be able to come to the office at least 2 days a week.

Principal Accountabilities
- Data acquisition and ETL using SQL, Big Query and SAP Business Object.
- Data visualization with Tableau and Looker.
- Data processing and modelling
- Strong skill in a script language (Python, R, etc.).
- Proficient in SQL and Excel.
- Proficient with Tableau.
- Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field like Math/Statistics/Data Science/Financial Engineering etc.
- Finance background is strongly recommended.
- 16 hours per week, in-person is required.
- 32 weeks
