About CMFCAA:
The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association is a not-for-profit agency that educates, supports, & advocates for foster, adoptive, & kinship children, youth, & families in central Missouri by offering services & partnering with community & governmental agencies to develop healthy & self-sufficient individuals & families.
Currently, we are assisting over 640 foster families, over 1400 foster children, over 400 adopted children in our service area. Our goal is to be a support to the families, children, and youth in this area, and we work tirelessly to provide much needed services to them.
Position Summary:
Welcome to the position of Trunk Supervisor! One of our foundational programs, the Trunk is a clothing closet that provides FREE clothing, household items, and hygiene products to families with foster, adoptive, and kinship youth. This position will assist with the management of our 3 brick and mortar Trunks and the Traveling Trunk, CMFCAAS new mobile clothing closet and trunk associates. The Trunk Supervisor is a member of the organizations leadership team and will participate in program planning, marketing, community, and county outreach, volunteer management, public speaking, and strategic investment. This position also requires reporting and development of specific resources in the Trunk.
Essential Functions/Job Expectations:
Oversee the planning and organization of trunk services for 24 counties
Manage and oversee the Trunk and Trunk Associates
Strengthen and maintain community partnerships by establishing boundaries and building relationships
Collaborate with the Direct Services Manager to complete month-end reporting
Work cooperatively with the Outreach Logistics Supervisor and Direct Services Manager to develop and implement operation of the Traveling Trunk
Assist with customer services relations, processing donations, and stocking inventory as needed
Collaborate with other CMFCAA programs, particularly Direct Services, to ensure standardization of all clothing closet practices, coordination and communication of inventory, etc.
Utilize our database for program evaluation and to assess the strength of programs and services

Qualifications/Credentials
High School Diploma
Bachelors Degree in Social Work, or closely related field (preferred)
3-5 years of supervisory experience
Strong customer service and ability to develop professional relationships
Strong ability to analyze data and reporting capabilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to determine informational needs, to collect and analyze information
Skill in computers, software applications, and database management skills
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Ability to make some administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including an occasional evening and weekend event
Customer service/retail experience (preferred)
Knowledge of foster & adoptive care (preferred)
