What this Position Does : The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our growing organization within the talent acquisition department. This role will assist in recruiting for our Management & Training Program, conducting screening calls, and handling various administrative duties. The Specialist will ensure a seamless candidate experience and support our talent acquisition goals.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities This Person will be Overseeing :
Assist in recruiting efforts for on-site property openings, focusing on leasing, property operations, and maintenance roles. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit for open positions.
Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout the process.
Oversee recruitment for the Management & Training 90-day program, assisting with onboarding and ensuring new hires are well-prepared and set up for success.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring streamlined communication and a well-organized process.
Assist with preparing offer letters, managing job requisitions, and providing administrative support as needed within the department.
Attend career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote American Communities and identify top talent.
Track, measure, and report on key recruiting metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications Involved with the Position : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
What Education and / or Experience You Will Bring to the Table : Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; 1-2 years of recruiting experience in a corporate or high-volume recruitment environment, preferably within the multifamily or real estate industry; Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Communication Skills Involved with the Position : Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners; Proficient in creating and maintaining clear and concise documentation.
Analytical Abilities this Person Will Bring to the Table : Ability to use data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting strategies; Proficient in using recruitment data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
