Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant you assist the Physician(s) and others providing direct patient care in the CMH Specialty Clinic. This position also requires assisting with medication refills, immunizations, and assisting other Clinic Assistants as needed. Rooms patients, takes vital signs, assists with performing minor office procedures, e.g., biopsies, injections, joint aspirations, wound care, etc. Acts as a liaison between physician and patient. Perform other duties as assigned. The position will primarily workdays 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Program • Current certification as a CMA or licensure (LPN) or willingness to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire • Clinic experience preferred • BLS and/or willingness to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage of $20.91 to $28.23 per hour.Apply Now
