Responsibilities: Do you have a passion for creating a safety-oriented Under the supervision of Families Forward Urgent Care Services Coordinator, staff serves as a master’s level clinician providing short-term, urgent intervention services to families and youth who are at risk of hospitalization, have a recent hospitalization or are at risk for an out of home placemen. Family therapy 2-5 times a week. Intervention services provided could include intake assessments, home-based and community based therapy, referrals, and family interventions that require extensive crisis/safety planning and follow-up. Other duties will include consultation and collaboration with other service providers and case documentation. Services will be provided in the office, community and consumers home. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required or must be obtained within 60 days of application. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required, LMSW preferred or must have applied for and be able to obtain within 60 days of hire. One year of experience (professional or paraprofessional) in the examination, evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with Severe Emotional Disturbance and their families required. One year of post Master’s experience with minors with SED and families within the past 6 years. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Candidate must be able to work well with others. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and aces to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.
Conditional Employment Requirement: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, undergo and pass a Central Registry Screening, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $58,843-$66,788 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $77,230. 40 hours per week. M-F flexible schedule
