Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Supportive Services Coordinator, will function as a member of a team oriented, home-based intensive intervention unit working with children at risk of an out-of-home placement. In conjunction with the primary therapist, provides a variety of services to individuals and families. Typical duties include: mentoring; consumer transportation; supervision of and participation in leisure activities with consumers and consumers’ families; and assistance in the implementation of specific treatment plans. Requirements: Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.is required. A minimum of six months’ experience with emotionally impaired children and families is required. Expectation of occasional afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Person must be able to work cooperatively with others and possess good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to re-certify in CPR/First Aide each year following employment. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record, and pass a Central Registry Screening annually. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $16.91 per hour. 0-19 hours per week. Candidates must be willing/open/available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
