Responsibilities: In Older Adult Services/Adult Mental Health Services, serves as a Master's level professional clinician performing a wide range of direct and indirect mental health and co-occurring substance abuse services. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to case management and outreach, assessment, treatment plan development, case documentation, and provision of evidence-based practice therapies to older adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Consults and coordinates with various service providers, families, etc. and provides services in a variety of community settings in the Tri-County Area. Applicant must be able to prioritize and be flexible with frequent changes in schedule. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is required. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. One year of experience (professional or paraprofessional) working with persons with mental illness required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience working with persons with mental illness required. Candidate must be able to work well with others. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing required. Must be able to lift equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs as needed. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job related use required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification, and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $58,843-$66,788 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $77,230. 20 hours per week, M-F 8am-5pm as negotiated at time of hire. Position is a job share with another employee.
