Shift Options:
- Day Shift
- Night Shift (Mon-Fri 3:30 pm- 2:00 am) - Eligible for $1,000 new hire bonus paid after 1,000 hours worked
- Weekend Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am-6:30pm, Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours) Only in South or North Phoenix - Eligible for $1,000 new hire bonus paid after 1,000 hours worked

Position Overview:
CNC LATHE OR MILL OPERATOR
Loads material/parts into machines and runs programs. Daily maintenance on machine (checking fluid levels, cleaning out chips, etc.). In process inspection of parts. Entering tool offsets to compensate for tool wear etc. Replacement of worn or damaged tools (inserts, boring bars, end mills, drills, etc.).
· Fills out the MOT and their Job Sheets properly
· Maintains correct count of parts on the MOT for their operations
· Tags hardware and records discrepancies on proper paperwork for hardware known to the operator to be discrepant
· Records inspection data at proper intervals per the Inspection Traveler or other company paperwork
· Communicates any job related issues / questions (part feature, program, inspection, etc.) to lead person for resolution / clarification
· Maintains a clean and organized workspace
· Reports all machine collisions and malfunctions to lead
· Runs parts only with the proper authorization
· Read initial and date reject histories attached to MOT's
· Reads and understands B/P's including assemblies, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, notes, abbreviations, geometric dimensioning, tolerancing and any other standard nomenclature per customer, government, or industry standards
· Proper use of basic inspection, measuring and test equipment to verify dimensions of product
· Basic use of CNC control
· Installation and removal of perishable tooling
· Buy-off requirements
· Company specific handling & FOD requirements
· Company specific product identification requirements
· How to fill out company paperwork properly (MOT's, Inspection Travelers, Job Sheets, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to understand what a machine is going to do just by reading the CNC program
- Knows all aspects of CNC control involved with setting up jobs
- Knowledge of set-up techniques (building tools, setting tool lengths, installing tools on centerline of machine, setting up bar pull or magazine, installing jaws, chucks, indexers, guide bushings, etc.)
- Knowledge of different holding techniques (vise jaws, chuck jaws, collets, etc.)
- Knowledge of machine and perishable tooling capability to produce different part configurations and tolerances
- Ability to troubleshoot programs / setups
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
