What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at CMI Healthcare Services?
Responsibilities:
• Perform all aspects of laboratory specimen collection, review, posting, and dissemination
• Maintain appropriate supplies inventory for all laboratory procedures
• Manage monthly patient lists for medical testing and follow-up testing
• Check patients’ vital signs and perform health assessments, TB skin tests and collect blood samples
• Enter vitals in Clinic Database
• Document medical information in the patient’s medical file
• Maintain the cleanliness of the lab and follow all universe safety precautions
• Complete reminder\no-show calls to patients
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of experience
• Must hold a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist certification in the State where the treatment center is located
• Blood collecting experience preferred
