Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Hardware Provisioning Technician to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining computer hardware and peripherals for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate has excellent technical skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure new computers, laptops, and other devices according to client specifications
- Install and update operating systems and standard software packages on devices
- Maintain accurate inventory of all client IT assets using our tracking system
- Process new equipment requests and prepare hardware for distribution
- Document processes and maintain knowledge base articles
- Support client environments with hardware shipping and setup guidance
- Collaborate with Engineering Manager and TAM to meet client deadlines and requirements
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced MSP environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider setting
- CompTIA A certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with imaging software and deployment tools
KPI
· Percent of Hours Worked Actually Billable >75%
· T&M Billable Hours > 30 Hours
· Regular Time Report < 10 Hours
