What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Pure Storage Resident position at CMK Resources, Inc.?
CMK Resources Inc. is urgently seeking a Senior Pure Storage Resident to act as a dedicated Pure Storage SME for a critical client engagement. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level support, building trust with the client, and delivering successful upgrade implementations.
This is a hands-on implementation engineering role requiring onsite presence at the client’s Madison, WI office. This 6-month engagement (with a very strong likelihood of renewal to a year or longer) and must be available for midnight to 4 AM change control windows twice a week to support upgrade activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and perform Non-Disruptive Upgrades and Self-Service Upgrades for the client’s Pure Storage Flash Array environments.
- Address and manage a backlog of pending NDUs across the multiple sites, ensuring minimal disruption and high client satisfaction.
- Act as the advocate and trusted SME from Pure Storage, collaborating closely with the client to transition upgrade responsibilities over time.
- Build trust and confidence with the client by delivering consistent results, fostering personal connections, and providing expert-level guidance.
- Work closely with Pure Storage and client teams to develop a comprehensive transition and training plan for future self-managed upgrades.
- Provide consultative support to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing upgrade challenges and ensuring seamless execution.
- Quickly ramp up on Pure Storage technologies, with additional training provided by Pure Storage if necessary.
