DESCRIPTION
The IP Video Technician is responsible for networking and troubleshooting IP Video equipment and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure cameras, including Bosch, Axis and Hanwha
- Work with IP and Analog cameras both in facilities and in our onsite shop
- Perform networking duties including troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, Angry IP Scanner, VLC Player and Ping
- Network card IP addressing and troubleshooting
- Perform basic cabling and rack and stack of CCTV equipment
- Lift up to 30lbs
- Travel to various projects as assigned and as is reasonable
- Perform basic office duties, including typing, copying, emailing, etc.
- Operate tools and machinery as required
- May be required to work outside of normal business hours, as dictated by project needs
- Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate
- Maintain the standards, culture and values of CML Security
- Other duties as assigned
