What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Electronics Technician - Hawaii position at CML Security?

Our team works alongside General Contractors and Architects to provide the best solutions for construction and design of detention facilities, often helping owners narrow down particular solutions needed for their individual project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including writing and testing PLC software in languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagrams
- Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Programming Allen Bradley, Modicon, Schneider, automation direct, and/or GE PLC’s
- Programming FactoryTalk View SE/ME, Wonderware, LabView, iFix, and/or similar packages
- Hard-wired controls and troubleshooting skills
- Computer networks and/or information technology
- Develop, modify, test, and startup Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
- Perform submittal reviews from contractors and system integrators to provide feedback on system configuration, construction approach, and alignment with client desires
- Prepare panel designs, wiring schematics, and network and control system architecture documentation
- Work and communicate effectively with other disciplines, task leaders, and project managers
- Produce effective and accurate written documents, reports, and technical memorandums Develop and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to ensure proper functionality
- Install, service & maintain a variety of Intrusion, Camera, and Access Control Systems
- Install cabling for a variety of low-voltage systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on systems and components
- Works independently or as part of a team to run/install s Working knowledge of voltmeter/ohm meter, butt set, and Tone generator
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner
- Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention
- Keep up to date with changes and new developments in products and technology
- Attend and complete training programs
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
- Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate
- Maintain the standards, culture, and values of CML Security
- Other duties as assigned
