JOB TITLE : Payroll Administrator
DEPARTMENT : Accounting
REPORTS TO : Chief Financial Officer
FLSA STATUS : Hourly, Non-Exempt
EFFECTIVE DATE : June 12, 2018
DESCRIPTION
The Payroll Administrator manages the weekly payroll process for employees working in the commercial construction
industry using our outsourced payroll processor, Paycom. They are responsible for keeping abreast of company, industry
and regulatory changes that impact payroll and timekeeping compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process payroll for over 300 employees on a weekly basis for multiple companies
- Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time including weekly payments for garnishments, 401k and taxes
- Maintain schedule of PTO and sick pay
- Responsible for weekly certified payroll to be labor compliant and submitted in a timely manner to
owners / general contractors per contract specifications
