CoverMyMeds’ network includes 75 percent of electronic health record systems (EHRs), 50,000 pharmacies, 750,000 providers and most health plans and PBMs. The Director BioPharma Commercial Solutions manages a cross-functional team serving specific customers within a CoverMyMeds customer segment. They serve as the primary point of contact when issues or problems need management attention and resolution. This individual is charged with developing and executing strategic account plans for the long-term development of the account, including relationships, products, and financial performance. This role is accountable for long-term customer satisfaction, successful deployment of relevant products, high renewal rates, and high customer profitability. This role is also a people manager and will be responsible for the other CST members. This individual will be expected to ensure the team executes the strategic account plan and builds an environment of high performance, high engagement and strong culture. Account Development Oversee consistent communication with customers and monitor for customer understanding and follow-through Continually monitor the customer experience and customer satisfaction, take / overseeing actions to address customer concerns Oversee services provided by team to ensure the right product mix across the CMM portfolio Develop and maintain key relationships (e.g., executives, leadership) at customers to enable CST success Conduct regular program reviews with customer to understand CMM performance, opportunities to improve, and opportunities to extend the relationship Monitor the financial health of the customer program and identify actions to improve financial performance Account Planning Develop / maintain customer account plans, identifying actions to grow the account and the customer’s use of CMM products Develop / maintain long-term plan to extend and deepen relationships between customers, the CST, and CMM leadership Create and manage roadmap for the development of the account, including timetable, key events and relationships, customer strategy, competitive landscape Develop and refine strategy for delivering excellent customer service and improving those services Team & People Management Manage a cross-functional team of professionals focused on specific customers within a CMM customer segment Oversee engagement of the entire team with customers, and ensure that customers have a clear understanding of team roles Monitor team member skills and advancement opportunities; work across CMM Commercial to encourage training, mentoring, job rotation, and advancement. Support a high level of training, coaching and skill development Sales Management Ensure that CMM leadership is up-to-date and engaged on key sales opportunities Identify the key customer executive relationships most important to CMM engagement and support CMM leadership engagement Minimum Job Qualifications : Education/Training – Bachelors or MBA preferred Typically requires 12 years of professional experience and 3 years of people leader experience. Business Experience – Possesses exceptional presentation and communication skills Has 8 -10 years of experience managing enterprise client relationships Strong empathy for customers AND a passion for revenue and growth Self-starter, able to drive through ambiguity to achieve results Operational mindset, able to navigate client needs and translate them into solutions Pharma and/or Specialty experience is preferred Is a critical thinker and has strong capabilities around execution Understands how to navigate a matrixed organization and build critical internal relationships Specialized Knowledge/Skills – Demonstrates “customer first” mindset Results driven problem solver Effective at both strategy, execution and operations Extensive people management experience Skilled at the development of strategic customer plans Able to make tough decisions and challenge the status quo Deep analytical skills to assess business and financial performance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Grooms the next generation of McKesson leaders Strong executive presence – inspires trust and respect from customers 13 years pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial business experience, in Sales/Account Management, Marketing or Strategy disciplines Experience leading multi-site Director level leaders each with customer facing strategic account management teams.
