Position Overview:
CMMG, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role involves managing the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments, and maintaining effective vendor relationships. The Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and play a key role in the financial operations of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Enter approved invoices into the accounts payable system and prepare them for payment.
- Payment Management: Ensure bills are paid according to established terms and deadlines, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Expense Reporting: Process and review monthly expense reports to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Tax Compliance: Maintain up-to-date records of IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification and Certification) for all vendors.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any discrepancies and address payment-related inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High level of accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts payable tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for effective vendor interaction and internal coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.

Satisfactorily complete the 90-day probationary period. Training provided to understand CMMG firearms, ATF/DOJ policies and regulations while learning how to offer a personalized interaction to meet the unique needs of each customer.
