CMMG Inc. is looking for a motivated Picker/Packer/Shipper to join our team. This position is responsible for working in a fast paced environment fulfilling orders along with meeting deadlines. The position requires accuracy, advanced problem solving and organizational skills. To be successful you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.
The Picker/Packer/Shipper maintains a clean and safe work environment while producing high accuracy of shipped finished goods. They perform frequent checks of quality and quantity, ensuring that there is no damage and making sure that they are labeled properly.
The work of a Picker/Packer/Shipper is quite demanding as they need to gain knowledge on all parts, have attention to detail, desire to work in a fast paced environment while producing accurate shipments. They interact with people from different departments, which include Uppers, Lowers, Sales and other Production departments.

Picker/Packer/Shipper Responsibilities:
- Multi task and handle several urgencies at once.
- Pick, quality control, label, pack and ship items
- Utilize inventory software to create, track and reconcile shipments
- Take initiative to fix problems and errors
- Minimize time to process orders through organized picking and packing
- Check products for defects and accuracy.
- Handle outgoing shipments by checking them physically.
- Ensure that serial numbers match the product that is being shipped.
- Report and replace any defective items to Department Head.
- Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types.
- Ensure that the working area is cleaned and maintained at all times
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Picker/Packer/Shipper Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines.
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for eight hours and perform physical activities
- Ability to read, write, sort, check, count and verify numbers
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Work independently and within a team environment
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other employees and management.
- Knowledge and ability to use hardware and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet and more)
- Satisfactorily complete the 90 day probationary period.
