Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Eligibility Specialist with a clear understanding of the various Medicaid plans. The ideal Eligibility Specialist will have 2 years of experience, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid applications. The Eligibility Specialist role is crucial in ensuring accurate coverage and reimbursement for medical services provided.
Job Qualifications:
2 years of experience in medical billing eligibility, specifically pertaining to Medicare and Medicaid plans.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient information to determine Medicare and Medicaid eligibility
Review and submit documents with the application in accordance with current Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
Monitor and track submissions to ensure timely processing with follow up as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Stay updated on changes in Medicare policies, procedures, and regulations.
