Position Description: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Infection Preventionist ( IP ) in Watertown, Massachusetts, for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ). This is a full-time, in-person position Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Qualifications of the Infection Preventionist ( IP ) : Valid Registered Nurse ( RN ) license in the state of Massachusetts. 2 years of experience as a Staff Development / Infection Preventionist Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) Responsibilities of the Infection Preventionist ( IP ) : Conduct regular audits and surveillance of infection control practices. Analyze infection data and trends, providing recommendations for improvement. Educate staff on infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, PPE usage, and isolation protocols.
