Position Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Insurance Verification Supervisor for our Post-Acute Billing Agency Baltimore, Maryland. This is a full-time, Hybrid position, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Qualifications of the Insurance Verification Supervisor:
2 years of experience as an Insurance Verification Supervisor for a Long Term Care ( LTC ) facility or post-acute Billing Agency.
Clear understanding of Medicaid eligibility requirements, tracking, and follow-ups.
Responsibilities of the Insurance Verification Supervisor:
Monitor Medicaid eligibility and ensure proper coverage for nursing home residents
Assist the patient and their families with Medicaid applications, guiding them through the process and addressing any concerns
Track and manage Medicaid pending cases Oversee and support staff handling Medicaid cases, providing guidance to ensure compliance and efficiency.
