Position Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner ( NP ) or Physician assistant ( PA ) for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) and Home Health Service in Seattle, Washington. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Qualifications of the Wound Care Nurse Practitioner ( NP ) or Physician Assistant ( PA ):
Valid Nurse Practitioner ( NP ) or Physician Assistant ( PA ) license in Washington.
Wound Care Certification ( WCC ), Certified Wound Specialist ( CWS ) or Certified Infection Control ( CIC ) is preferred.
1 years of experience in managing wound care and infection prevention in a Skilled Nursing facility ( SNF ) or Home Health setting.
Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse Practitioner ( NP ) or Physician Assistant ( PA ):
Assess, treat, and monitor wounds, pressure ulcers, and surgical wounds, ensuring proper healing and infection prevention.
Implement infection control protocols, educate staff on hygiene practices, and monitor for outbreaks of infectious diseases.
Ensure adherence to state and federal health regulations, maintain accurate records, and report infection rates to appropriate agencies.
