Responsibilities
- Sales & Prospecting: Generate new business by prospecting and building relationships with homeowners, contractors, and commercial property owners. Identify customer needs and offer tailored roofing, siding, window, and gutter solutions.
- Consultation & Presentations: Meet with potential clients in-person or virtually to assess their needs. Conduct site evaluations and provide detailed product recommendations, estimates, and solutions. Present proposals clearly and professionally.
- Product Knowledge: Stay knowledgeable about the latest roofing, siding, window, and gutter products, including materials, styles, and installation processes. Educate customers on the benefits and value of these products.
- Lead Management: Manage leads effectively through a CRM system, following up regularly to keep projects moving forward and ensure client satisfaction.
- Closing Sales: Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly sales targets. Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaboration with Installation Teams: Work closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure a smooth handover of contracts and accurate installation execution.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, ideally in roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or other home improvement products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed sales goals
- Basic knowledge of construction and exterior home improvement products is preferred
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
