CMSP LLC is seeking an experienced Molding Machine or Press Operator.
Position Overview:
The Press Operator is responsible for performing press operations according to daily work orders, ensuring parts are produced to meet specified production quantity and quality standards. This role involves machine operation, quality inspection, documentation, and collaboration with team members to maintain smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Operate press machines to produce parts in compliance with established standards and work order specifications.
- Load materials into press machines and prepare for production.
- Quality Control: Inspect produced parts to ensure consistent quality and report any discrepancies immediately to the lead person.
- Machine Maintenance: Identify and report machine malfunctions promptly to the lead person.
- Production Targets: Meet required production quantity and quality levels as outlined in daily work orders.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure smooth pre-press operations and machine setup.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Oral and Written Communication Skills: Clear communication with team members and management is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to closely monitor machine performance and product quality.
- Time Management & Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage production schedules.
- Dexterity Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling machinery.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and resolve them promptly.
- Basic Math Skills: For measuring, adjusting, and maintaining quality standards.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior experience in press operation or a similar manufacturing role is helpful, but not required.
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday
1st Shift : 6:30am-2:00pm
2nd Shift: 3:30pm-11:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
