Job Description
CMSP is now hiring for a Tradeshow Warehouse Associate who enjoys working in a fast paced environment to join the team at our Cerritos, CA office. The Tradeshow Warehouse Associate will be responsible for duties that include packing and sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights and restocking body composition accessories/materials.
Essential Responsibilities
· Coordination & Communication
o Coordinate with show coordinators to ensure timely delivery of materials to and from event locations.
o Work closely with sales and logistics teams to facilitate seamless event execution.
o Label and categorize materials for efficient retrieval and inventory tracking.
o Actively inform the Logistics Team about any updates or delays.
·Preparation & Maintenance
o Prepping, assembling, and staging materials for easy deployment at conventions.
o Conduct routine maintenance checks on booth displays and equipment.
o Keeping storage areas clean, efficient, and well-organized for quick access.
· Asset Management
o Tracking, organizing, and restocking convention supplies, backdrops, banners, and promotional materials.
o Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to avoid shortages during peak event periods.
· Compliance & Safety
o Report safety hazards and participate in monthly safety training with Warehouse Team.
o Properly dispose of damaged or outdated materials while maintaining accurate records.
o Safely operated warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
· Shipping & Receiving
o Assemble, pack, and organize booth materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring they are securely shrink-wrapped and protected during transit.
o Inspect incoming shipments, report discrepancies or damages, and maintain accurate receiving records.
o Apply advanced packaging techniques (e.g., crating, cushioning) for fragile items.
o Verify shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing slips, to ensure accuracy.
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Excellent communication, attention to detail, follow up and organizational skills
· Prior experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations such as shipping and receiving
· Team player who is adaptive and able to take direction in a fast-environment
· Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance
· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour
