Warehouse/Forklift Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Order Selector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing food and non-food products for shipment using an electric pallet jack or forklift. You will ensure orders are correctly picked, labeled, and staged while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accuracy standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Inspect work area for safety hazards and report any concerns immediately.
• Review work schedule, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Perform a safety check on pallet jack or forklift before use and ensure all safety devices are functioning.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Locate and select products according to order sheets using multi-level rack storage.
• Place selected items on pallets using single or double pallets as required.
• Transport completed orders to the shipping dock staging area.
• Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards as per company guidelines.
• Perform battery replacements or recharging of equipment when necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection checklists and required paperwork.
• Secure all equipment and maintain a clean workspace at the end of each shift.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift (training provided if necessary).
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items as required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order selection.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold / freezer environment

Schedule:

• Sunday - Thursday 2PM Start Time
• Full-time availability required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.90 - $18.00 per hour
