Position Summary - Inventory Control Specialist
CMT Inc, Hot Springs, has an opening for a Inventory Control Specialist in support of aerospace parts manufacturing operations. The main job duties include Inventory Control, Receiving, and Raw Material Control functions. The primary function is to maintain accurate control of inventory counts, locations, and traceable documentation for parts, hardware, adhesives, raw materials, and tooling. This is a full time position with a full benefits package available.
1. Perform Stockroom and Tool Crib inventory control functions.
2. Update m1 ERP system for all transactions in and out of stock room and storage locations.
3. Maintain accurate control of inventory counts, locations, and traceable documentation for parts, hardware, adhesives, raw materials, engineering mylars, and tooling.
4. Prepare parts and tools for shipping.
5. Review incoming Job Orders and Part for accurate ID and Item Count.
6. Perform Daily Cycle counts and track inventory accuracy.
7. Maintain clean and orderly Finished Goods Storage area.
8. Scanning completed Job Orders and retained documents.
1. Perform as cross-trained back up person for Shipping and Receiving.
2. Pick-up and delivery using company pickup truck.
3. Building Shipping Crates
4. Operate Shears and Saws.
5. Back up for Overhead Supply Vending System ordering / stocking.
6. Perform Building, Grounds, and Office Maintenance as requested.
1. Thorough attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
2. Commitment to 100% Inventory Accuracy.
3. Math skills - Ability understand and calculate Unit of Measure conversions.
4. Multi-tasking capability – Cover stockroom, Tool Crib, and many other tasks assigned by supervision.
5. Personal Initiative – Recognize necessary tasks according to workflow.
6. Must function well with minimal direct supervision
7. Computer Skills – experience with ERP and Inventory Control Systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
8. Forklift Operations.
9. Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license and submit to an insurance driving record check to operate company vehicle
10. Flexibility – Ability to cover a wide range of tasks
11. Disciplined approach to task completion.
12. Positive interpersonal relations with manufacturing employees being supported.
1. Normal Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4 x 10 Hours).
2. Friday schedule overtime 1-2 times per month on rotation.
3. Overtime as required to match workload.
1. Ability to lift 50 lbs safely

5. Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment with dust, noise, heat, and cold.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
