Duties :
Provide design and construction oversight of structural engineering tasks on assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Structural engineering tasks include :
- analysis of structural systems for both static and dynamic loads using manual computation and computer programs
- design of concert structures
- design of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, timber, and composite structures
- foundation and anchorage design
- structural analysis for impact, overpressure, and other accident condition
- preparation of CSI specifications
- and review of vendor documents.
Individuals at times will be required to travel off-site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineer organizations.
Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.
Required Qualifications
Education :
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, or current registration as a Professional in either Civil or Structural Engineering

Work Hours :
A 40 hours work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5 / 8s (8 hours / day; five days per week), 4 / 10s (10 hours / day; four days per week), and 9 / 80s (9 hours / day; five days on week A and four days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch.

A security clearance is not required.
