Required Education
- High School Diploma
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including MS Project.
- Ability to learn new computer programs quickly. Current programs include SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam PDF software.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Electrical and/or Instrumentation Journeyman.
- Other E&I Trade Certification
- Understanding and familiarity with the applicable codes and standards such as NEC, IEEE and ANSI plus relevant safety regulations
- Capable of understanding the schematic wiring drawings
- Candidates will have working knowledge of PLC and associated instruments.
- Candidates will have experience around LV, MV and HV equipment such as switchgear, protection devices.
- Construction Quality Assurance Inspection.
- Construction processes and methods, materials and their use, characteristics, preparation and/or installation.
- Construction specifications and standards.
- Safety practices to be followed during construction.
- Quality standards and test methods for construction materials.
- This position works very closely with the project owner, project superintendents and project engineer.
- Ensure all work is in conformance with the contractual requirements.
- Verify all material incorporated into the project conforms to all submittals, project specifications and drawings.
- Understand and execute the required testing procedures in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards.
- Review all special inspection and material testing performed by third parties.
- Frequent verbal and written communication with general contractors, subcontractors, and/or owners representatives.
$67.00 - $73.00 per hour
