Position Summary
The Office Assistant provides essential support to the company's FSQA Compliance Officer to set up and coordinate safety programs for all operating companies.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties
Normal office conditions, as well as occasional time in processing facilities (processing room, warehouse, chill/frozen storage)
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, some Saturdays. 35-40 hours per week
Must also be able to work irregular or longer hours as needed occasionally.
Mental and Physical Demands
Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Able to manage stressful and challenging situations.

Position Summary

Essential Functions And Basic Duties
- Data entry
- Email correspondence with operating facilities
- Assist in updating all HACCP documentation and paperwork for OPCOs.
- Assist to maintain current online safety training, SOP training, Forklift & First Aid Certifications for all OPCO's.
- Ordering of supplies & track shipping
- Maintain annual vendor verification program.
- Assist with production folders for all products (Dry production/Produce Dept)
- Create/update spreadsheets.
- Assist in maintaining all company permits active.
- Accumulated and filed bi-weekly uploads of all Bluefin and Swordfish data to NOAA's website.
- Assist the Food Safety Manager with gathering FDA Import documentation as needed.
- HACCP Certification (after probation)
- Create training video/PowerPoint presentation on different SOPs to train production/warehouse staff (sanitation, GMPs, PPEs, Safety, Food Safety, Food Allergens, Cross contamination, and other job functions required by GMs or Production Managers).
- Assist and help input data into Food Safety Management Builder for all OPCOs.
- Assist with establishing a program for new FSMA requirements for traceability.
- Filing
- Associate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- High School diploma
- Proficient in the use of a computer, excel spreadsheets, word documents, and other required software.
- Familiar with and ability to use general office equipment such as copy machines, scanners, fax machines, etc.
