Position Overview
As aPart-TimePatient Services Associate, you will provide front desk and administrative support for the Behavioral Health Department. Your responsibilities may include welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and handling phone inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, creating a warm and supportive environment.
- Schedule and confirm behavioral health appointments following department protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information.
- Answer and triage phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
- Assist with medical records management, including scanning and filing documents in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Provide administrative support to behavioral health providers as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:Prior experience in a health care, mental health, or medical office setting is preferred.
- Skills:Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology:Proficiency in computer applications; experience with scheduling software is a plus.
