Job Overview

Duties

- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for children.
- Provide care for children, including first aid when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage with parents and families to build strong relationships and support their involvement in their child's education.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong skills in classroom management and caregiving.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to various learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Experience or training in working with children with disabilities is a plus.
