JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
1. Reviews requests from various parties to determine which applicable Powers of Attorney should be compiled and distributed.
2. Prepares and mails various types of Power of Attorney forms according to specific agents' needs as requested by Underwriters, Branch personnel, and agents.
3. Records specific data online pertaining to Powers of Attorney in effect.
4. Researches and determines where obligees require Blanket Powers of Attorney on file.
5. Records and files Blanket Powers of Attorney with various obligees.
6. Revokes Powers of Attorney when necessary.
7. Composes a variety of correspondence to Branch office personnel, marketing representatives, agents, obligees, and other Company personnel concerning Power of Attorney requirements.
8. Maintains a current file of all officers of the Western Surety Company, USA, and SBCA.
9. Answers telephone inquiries from agents, obligees, and various Company personnel pertaining to the administration of Powers of Attorney.
10. May perform additional duties as assigned which may include, but are not limited to, Licensing Specialist task support and other duties that support the overall Agency business unit.

Education & Experience
1. Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Typically, a minimum six months to one year of related experience.
