Hardware Engineer Manager

We are hiring for a Hardware Engineer Manager. This role is onsite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • 5 years of analog and digital hardware development experience
  • 5 years of engineering management experience in a product development environment
  • Practical, hands-on knowledge of hardware development for embedded systems including analog and digital components
  • Hands on knowledge of various standard communication protocols and topologies, including Ethernet, I2C, RS232, RS485, SPI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline
  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) layout and schematic capture tools (PADS or similar)
  • Experience with CAD tools (Solidworks, AutoCad or similar)
  • Experience developing firmware for embedded systems
  • Experience with Commercial and Industrial lighting control systems
  • Sound understanding of Agile development processes
  • Knowledge of security vulnerability mitigation for embedded devices
  • Experience with wireless networks including Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth Mesh
  • Experience working with geographically-dispersed teams
