What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Universal Banker position at CNB Bank and Trust, N.A.?
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Seek new business by presenting, selling, and cross-selling bank products
- Open and have significant knowledge of all types of deposit accounts, ensuring that applicable regulations, disclosures, policies, and procedures are observed
- Process customer transactions; verify and balance cash drawer
- Meet or exceed established customer service standards to enhance the customer experience
- Other duties as assigned
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Dynamic, outgoing personality with a smile and greeting for every customer
- Present a professional appearance
- Ability to quickly learn the bank’s products and services, policies and procedures, and bank regulations
- Ability to match customer needs to our products and services and to complete all necessary steps in opening accounts
- Ability to cross-sell the bank’s products and services
- Ability to handle cash competently and have a good balancing record
- Excellent customer service skills; able to handle customers and difficult situations in a professional manner and to remain calm under stressful situations
- A team player, willing to help wherever needed
- Ability to earn repeat business
- Requires high school diploma or GED plus additional bank-related training; 4 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
WORK SCHEDULE: This full-time position is scheduled for approximately 37-40 hours per week, M-F with rotating Saturdays.
