What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Banker Supervisor position at CNB Bank and Trust, N.A.?
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervise all Universal Bankers at the Pittsfield facility.
- Demonstrate exceptional service to both internal and external customers while leading and coordinating the daily activities of the Universal Banker staff and their adherence to established customer service standards and Bank policies.
- Develop monthly sales plan and coach assigned staff to ensure accountability for expectations.
- Drive all aspects of the Sales and Service processes by developing and implementing plans to include calling on maturing accounts, sales leads, referrals, and other prospecting opportunities.
- Function as a Universal Banker, complete Teller transactions and perform the most sophisticated, challenging, and difficult activities related to the opening or closing of various types of time and demand deposit accounts.
- Serve as a role model to staff and very effectively make referrals to Loan and Trust Departments.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to quickly learn the bank’s products and services
- Ability to quickly learn bank policies and procedures and government regulations related to the opening and closing of all types of time and demand deposit accounts.

- A “can-do” attitude toward meeting customer and employee needs and resolving problems
- High school diploma or GED; plus, additional sales and bank-related training; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK SCHEDULE: This full-time exempt position is scheduled for approximately 40 hours per week, including rotating Saturday shifts.
