What are the responsibilities and job description for the BSA Analyst position at CNB Bank & Trust NA?
- Manages the preparation and submission of all Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) within required timeframes. Coordinates the CTR Exemption Reviews.
- Ensures CTRs are filed within regulatory timelines.
- Performs daily review, monitoring, and analysis of various reports, logs, and transaction data to ensure timely and accurate completion of CTRs.
- Completes data validation for the Bank’s AML software.
- Analyzes transactional activity and customer records, including bank statements, transactions, images and conduct necessary research to adjudicate alerts generated by the Bank’s AML Software. Escalates alerts for further investigation according to procedures.
- Assists with gathering information to prepare for internal or external audits or exams as requested.
- Assist with gathering reporting information or testing related to implementation of new systems as requested.
- Build a working knowledge (functional and operational) of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC and comply with the Bank’s AML/CFT Policy and Program Requirements along with other related policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Detail oriented and well-organized; able to work independently without constant monitoring
- Good computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work in a quiet environment with no external customers
- A team player, willing to help wherever needed and do more than is asked
- High School diploma or GED plus additional coursework or college classes; or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK SCHEDULE: This full-time exempt position is scheduled for approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
