Position Description :
We call all employees who are not in a leadership or management position "Bakers". It is a general title that offers a wide range of areas on which successful employees can focus. All positions are part of a team effort in delivering on our main goal of creating great experiences and memorable moments for our customers. Everyone shares responsibility for quality, service, and store cleanliness.
- Bakers : Entry level and part-time position mostly involved in balling our dough and portioning cakes and pies; in addition to boxing and decorating orders and presenting them directly to our customers. Hence the "customer service" mentioned in our job headline.
- Sr. Bakers : Do everything a Baker does, but is at least 18 years old, and also able to be an advisor to others and leading balling teams. Sr. Bakers will have the opportunity to begin training for more advanced roles like Mixing and Baking.
- At least 16 years old (hours limited by PA law until 18)
- Availability to weekday evenings and occasional Saturdays (we're closed Sundays)
- Work permit from your school if under 18

- Food Handlers Permit within 1 week of hire

- Hourly Waged Advertised Includes Guarantee Tip Minimum :
- Monday - Thursday : Various times as early as 6 a.m. and late as 10 : 30 p.m
- Friday - Saturday : Various times as early as 6 a.m. and late as midnight
- Sunday : We are closed every Sunday
- Flexible scheduling is offered, but you will be required to commit to your overall availability in writing, and will responsibility for finding approved replacement if you cannot attend any scheduled shift

Minimum Job Requirements :
This role includes TIP SHARING as part of the advertised hourly pay. For the remainder of 2024, the minimum tip guarantee is $3.00 per hour for all shifts, meaning the base wage will be $8.00 - $12.00 per hour, plus that $3.00 guarantee ($8 for entry level, $12 for qualified Sr. Bakers). As of January 1st, 2025, the tip guarantee is subject to change, and will be higher for evenings, nights, and weekends than it is during daytime weekday hours. Tip sharing is NOT capped, so if the store collects more tips than the minimum, that portion will be shared according to policy. The minimum guaranteed tip amount and overall program rules are subject to change every calendar quarter.
